Has anyone beer to Uber?

I heard about this beer place on Aurora and was told it was a beer geek heaven. I was wondering if any tribe members have gone and what they thought about it.

I haven't been their yet, though I also read about it, I think on the Beer Advocate site. Maybe I'll check it out on Monday after work. I do like Duck Island although I've only been there once so far.

    Ahhh yes, Uber...

Around 100 bottles, about 16 taps, and yes, it is quite a beer geek Heaven. They have things for the normal beer drinker as well.

Go in there and harass Colin if he's there...tell him Shawn sent you ;).

I went yesterday and it was delightful. I arrived about 4:30 and was the first person there for the after work crowd. It's small and cozy, with this round table that has a big open fireplace in the center of it. I sat at the bar and ordered an Avery Czar Stout, which I've never had on draft before. They have about 24 taps and more bottles than I could guess. I thought the descriptions and categoies in the menu were the most accurate I've seen. There were separate lists for Doubles, Triples, American Strong, Stouts, Russian Stouts, etc. A customer asked for a sample and the bartender hapily gave her one in a tiny snifter. They had four different Meads on draft as well, but for my second beer I had to try the Hair of the Dog Rose. The only thing I like that I didn't see was the abv % listed on the menu. I don't think it's important, but it is nice for a lightweight like me when choosing beers I'm not familiar with. The prices seemed very reasonable to me. I didn't catch the name of the bartender but he was friendly and knowledgable. I will be back soon.
